Dear Parents and Students,
Summer is the busiest time of the year here! Activities and curriculum are updated over the summer to make the engagement of Jewish education even more successful. We are so excited to introduce a great fall schedule here at Beth David. The phone never stops ringing with questions from new parents, teachers, madrichim, and even students! Our faculty members are awesome and dedicated. The faculty has been planning for the first day of school and can’t wait to get started.
To briefly highlight the schedule:
1. The Religious School will meet on three Shabbat mornings during the 2016-17 school year! Students and parents will be able to experience Shabbat, including attending a Service and ending the day with a luncheon. What fun! The dates are noted below and on the website. The first Shabbat school will be on November 5, 2016. When we attend a Saturday (Shabbat) session, there will be no Sunday session that weekend.
2. Community Shabbat dates during the year are: 11/5, 1/7, 5/13
3. The Seventh Grade Students will meet on Sunday mornings (10:30-12:30) and Tuesday afternoon (4:00-6:00) Individualized tutoring will be scheduled when necessary on Tuesday.
4. For 2016-17- for Grade 3 ,4, 5 students have the option to attend mid-week session at Shipley on Wednesday from 4-6 pm by PRE-REGISTRATION with me. (FIRST-COME FIRST-SERVE) basis only.
