Service Attendance

                    Fall 2015-16

Dear Beth David Students and Parents,

Mazel Tov upon beginning another exciting Religious School year! We are delighted to provide you with information regarding our successful service attendance policy.  It is easy to follow, and a fun way to celebrate Shabbat during this new school year.

Important information:

A.   Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 attend at least five services at Beth David during the school year.  Two services of the five will be Friday night (Erev Shabbat).

B.   Students in grades 6 and 7 are required to attend at least six services at Beth David as a B’nai Mitzvah candidate.   At least three of the six services will be Shabbat morning services.

C.   Grades 8, 9, and 10 attend at least six Shabbat services at Beth David during the school year.

Festival services do not count for service attendance.

We encourage families to attend services, sit, and pray together!

“How do I get credit for the services I attend?”

After Shabbat, send an email to me and indicate the service your son/daughter attended. During the week, the service attendance will be recorded.

We want to wish you all a successful year and assure you that we here in the school are available to assist you in any way we can.  Please call the school with any questions (610-896-7485 ext. 106).

Have a great summer!
