Interfaith Hospitality Network of the Main Line, an affiliate of FamilyPromise

In the United States, 1 in 19 children experiences homelessness before reaching age 6.These children live in communities across the country, where their neighbors are unaware that family homelessness is happening in their backyard. The impact of homelessness for children extends far beyond a lack of housing. They are 8-9 times more likely to repeat a grade, 3 times more likely to be placed in special education programs, and 7 times more likely to commit suicide.

This October 25th, we are asking for your financial partnership to end the homeless crises for children and their families in our community.

Interfaith Hospitality Network of the Main Line will be taking part in Family Promise GivingDay, 24 hours of giving to help families in our community that are experiencing homelessness. 100% of your donation will go directly to IHN-ML to support the work that we do and the families we serve. The event is sponsored by Family Promise, the national organization of shelters like IHN-Main Line that partner with congregations to provide emergency housing and support to families in crisis.
