Beth David Religious School is a place where our young people explore Judaism and engage in the process of defining Judaism for themselves–at every age and stage.  Our learning environment creates a balance between creating a space where students feel accepted and appreciated for who they are, while they learn about and experience Judaism. Hebrew language, prayer, Jewish history, Jewish values, and Jewish culture are taught through the lens of our mission statement, using a wide variety of tools, from discussions to presentations, music, and arts, to meet the needs of a variety of learners.

– Grades K through 2 meet once weekly, Sunday mornings, from 9:30 AM till 12:30 PM.

Throughout the years of their Religious School education, students will build their own siddurim (prayer books).  In class, we will learn not only how to pronounce the prayers in Hebrew, but also identify key words and concepts of the prayers and understand the overall structure of the service. Students are also encouraged to practice at home with resources found here:  Beth David DropBox
