Featuring Cantor Rosalie Will
Saturday, November 4, 10:00am – PrayerLab and Nosh
The last few years brought so much disruption to prayer and music at Beth David – but this disruptive time has also sparked new questions about who we are and how we pray, and what role music and Shabbat might have in our lives. Join Cantor Goodlev and Rabbi Kalisch for special Shabbat gatherings that will help us consider these questions under the guidance of Cantor Rosalie Will, one of the leading experts on the cutting edge of worship and music thinking, whether it’s the interplay of song and spoken liturgy, how we use our sacred space, or how to increase the inclusivity of our prayer gatherings. Saturday morning is focused on music and the prayer experience for adults.
Saturday, Nov 4 – PrayerLab and Nosh – 10:00am
Through song, liturgy, reflection, and dialogue, we will explore the difference between doing “prayers” in services and being a pray-er.
Cantor Rosalie Will is nationally renowned for her work training songleaders, leading worship, and creating singing communities. She is the founder and Executive Director of Sing Unto God, a new non-profit dedicated to elevating the practice and impact of communal singing and dynamic prayer.
