Hope you are having a good summer so far.  We are well into preparations for the upcoming school year and are excited to let you know that registration for 2023-2024 is now live. (If you log in to your ShulCloud account before completing the form, some information should automatically populate.)

The school calendar should be complete within the coming weeks; we want to make sure that it is complete and accurate before we get it out to everyone.  It will be put on the website as soon as it is finalized and then sent to all families.

Registration is due by September 15; any registration from returning families after that date may be subject to a late fee.

Here are the fees for this year within members who pay the Basic Annual School Commitment, which will automatically be billed to your account.

Grade K           $180
Grades 1-2      $1,130
Grades 3-7      $1,370

If you wish to make your School Commitment more generous, please be in touch with Jill Cooper, our Executive Director.  If finances are a barrier for your family, please be in touch with Jill about scholarship.  We are fully committed to making Jewish Education available to all of our families, regardless of need.

Registration and information about our teen programs, for grades 8 through 12, will be coming soon.

Ivrit BaBayit, At Home Hebrew, our online weekday learning program will be available again for families/students for whom Tuesday afternoon in person learning cannot be successful. This option provides 3rd through 6th graders the opportunity to learn each week for 45 minutes, one-on-one, on zoom (or similar service) with a teacher, focusing mainly on the Hebrew curriculum, and with some discussion of their Judaics learning. Registration for this will come in early August. The fee this year for the program will be an additional $180.

We are very excited to continue our successful learning program by increasing our success with exciting opportunities, including: Junior Choir for grades 3 – 7; Hebrew Through Movement (learning the language of Hebrew, from Kindergarten through 6th Grade); more class trips; updated curricula, including Family Education, and more…

We can’t wait to have your family be part of our learning community in the fall!

Please be in touch if you have any questions or want to share any thoughts about our program.

L’shalom,
Rabbi Koppel

Throughout the years of their Religious School education, students will build their own siddurim (prayer books).  In class, we will learn not only how to pronounce the prayers in Hebrew, but also identify key words and concepts of the prayers and understand the overall structure of the service. Students are also encouraged to practice at home with resources found here:  Beth David DropBox
