Music has the ability to uniquely connect a community in prayer.  Familiar melodies ground us in the past and new melodies challenge us to interact with our texts in unforeseen ways.  With a set rhythm, our breathing is synchronized and our voices join as one, lifting our prayers to new heights.

Here at Beth David, our services include a mix of old and new melodies, accompanied by guitar and/or piano, and most importantly, led by your voices.  On some holidays and special celebrations, our music is enhanced by additional instruments or our congregational choir.  If you are interested in joining the Beth David Choir or play an instrument that could add to our worship, contact Cantor Goodlev.
