Shalom Shabbat and Matan Parshah

Shalom Shabbat is our monthly service that is especially family friendly, with more camp style music, pop up dance parties, a story in place of a sermon, birthday blessings (this month for October and November), and fun. It’s a service that is meaningful for all ages!!!  This month, we also have Matan Parashah at this service–a ceremony at which we officially present the Torah portion to the 6th graders, and celebrate their entrance into the process of becoming B’nai Mitzvah.

We start with dinner at 5:45 (this month: tacos!), followed by services at 6:30. Registration and prepayment for dinner is required here.
