Starting at 5:00pm – we’ll enjoy lots of food (dairy with non-dairy options….including blintzes and cheesecake!), games, activities for adults and for kids, gaga, and a bounce house. PLUS, the ice cream truck!!

Then, at 7 pm, Rabbi Kalish will offer a learning session for adults – I’m a Believer! … Or Maybe Not?!: Belief and Doubt on Shavuot. Shavuot celebrates the moment on Mt. Sinai when the Jewish people heard God’s voice giving the Ten Commandments. But what kind of God do we need to believe in for Shavuot to have meaning for us? Does skepticism have a place at Sinai?  Also on Zoom https://zoom.us/j/810166610

Shavuot Online Morning Service and Yizkor, Wednesday, June 12, 9-10am – Zoom Only

Shavuot Yizkor Service: Memory & Revelation: Shavuot is about revelation: how we come to know the truths of our lives. What has this past difficult year taught us? What have the people we have lost taught us?  We’ll reflect on these themes with 30 minutes of song, prayer and poetry, and 30 minutes of Yizkor (memorial) prayers and reflection. If you have lost a loved one this past year, or if you are remembering a loved one who died in a past year, Yizkor is a space for us to be together with love, grief, and memory.
