This day of volunteer service was created in recognition of the late Stephen J. Anderer, z”l for his passion and dedication as President of the Friends of the Gladwyne Jewish Memorial Cemetery. Volunteers will assist with the stabilization of paths throughout the cemetery, removal of invasive plants, and clean-up of fallen limbs and other debris.
We’ll wrap up by 12:30pm allowing plenty of time for those planning to attend Federation’s “One Year Later: Commemoration of October 7th” event at Har Zion which begins at 1:30pm.
Sturdy shoes, jeans and gardening gloves are recommended.
