Sh’ma Think Tank
Imagine Jewish life happening not just in our building, but also in living rooms across our community. Groups that are small enough to really get to know each other, with each group finding its own path to Jewish meaning, whether through meditation or social justice; through hiking or celebrating Jewish holidays; as new parents or as new retirees. This is the vision of Sh’ma Beth David: Listen, Connect, Renew – our new synagogue-wide initiative to create deeper and more meaningful connections among our community. But before we launch Sh’ma Beth David, we want your input … so welcome to the Sh’ma Think Tank! In a dozen meetings this fall and winter, Rabbi Kalisch, Cantor Goodlev, and a team of Beth David members will be facilitating conversations to learn more about what you might be interested in, and which conversations and connections you most want to fit into your busy life.
