Crafters Needed! Help with our 10/7 Memorial Art Project

Since October 7th, the red anemone, Israel’s national flower, which blooms in the south of Israel, has become a symbol of unity and a means of honoring the memory of those who have tragically lost their lives in the war. Kalaniyot is a project of female designers in Israel who have compiled over 450 drawings and other renderings of the flower that were produced as expressions of the artists’ grief and hope. Beth David is proud to be participating in this project under the guidance of our beloved art teacher, Edda Amado. Join Edda for a workshop to help create our red anemone project, which will be displayed on the High Holy Days. No artistic ability required – all who enjoy crafting and being creative are welcome! If you can’t make the workshop but are interested in helping with the project at a different time, email Edda.
