Featuring Dr. Janice Asher and Jordi Rivera Price
Janice Asher is an associate professor of obstetrics & gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She recently retired as the Director of Women’s Health at the Student Health Service at Penn. Dr. Asher specializes in eating concerns and relationship violence and has co-authored a textbook on sexual assault. She has been a member of Beth David for almost 30 years.
Jordi Rivera Prince is currently an anthropology PhD student at Michigan State University. As an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, she lost 130 pounds. She was Dr. Asher’s patient at Penn, and they are now collaborating on a book about creating a healthy relationship with food.
