The Jewish Film Festival has been on a little hiatus these past few months but we’re very excited to announce a new 4-film virtual film series that will begin July 13 – August 3, every Monday night at 7 PM EST. The program’s title, SHARED STORIES: THE INTERSECTION OF BLACK AND JEWISH EXPERIENCES IN AMERICA, pretty much sums it up. We will be showing two new films + two older films that relate to this theme. With everything that’s been going on in America, this is a VERY important and timely series that we hope will attract people.

Today, we live in a rare moment – a moment where transformation is possible and we, as a people, are capable of changing history! As we continue to navigate our differences, share our experiences, ask questions, and educate ourselves, we must remember it is up to us – as citizens of these united states – to be the change we want to see.

The staff at GPJFF hopes that SHARED STORIES will inspire dialogue and meaningful conversations, increase empathy and understanding, encourage further learning, and spur one to take action in whatever way feels right to them.

Upon registering, the night of the screening at 6 PM EST, you will receive an email with a private link for the film.
