WEDNESDAY’S OCTOBER 26, 2022 – FEBRUARY 15, 2023

Open to all, this course is designed for interfaith couples, adults raising Jewish children, spiritual seekers, individuals considering conversion, and Jews who want a meaningful adult Jewish learning experience. Wherever you are on your journey with Judaism, this class is designed to be a safe and welcoming place for you to explore. Our programs welcome people from all backgrounds and are LGBTQ-friendly.  Class will primarily be on zoom but will have first and last classes in person, along with other engagement opportunities.

Topics include holidays, life cycle celebrations, core beliefs, prayer, the Bible and other sacred texts, history, antisemitism and the Holocaust, Israel, the North American Jewish experience, and the diversity of the Jewish people today.

This class is taught in collaboration with Beth David Reform Congregation (Gladwyne), Temple Brith Achim (King of Prussia), Temple Sholom (Broomall), and Beth Chaim Reform Congregation (Malvern).  Registration is open now.

$180 for members of URJ congregations – of which Beth David is a member.
$250 for non-members; scholarships available as needed
